Any physical danger to inhaling the stench from feces?

Every morning while I excrete feces, I like to read the paper and work the crossword puzzle in the paper. I don't flush the feces until I'm totally finished with the paper, and the hole time I'm sitting there I'm inhaling the stench from the feces. Could this cause any physical harm to me or is it harm less?
