Yahoo Mail on Outlook Express doesn't work. Logon box comes up, mail times out?

I have a new Toshiba Netbook w XP. Setup earthlink email acct in Outlook Express, and it works fine.Yahoo mail does not. Logon box comes up constantly. Email times out. I've carefully entered all of the settings, over and over. The fixes for this problem havent worked, and are basically going over the account setup steps to correct typos, etc. Error numbers are 0x800CCC7D 0x800CCC90 0x800CCC92 HELP
