Do Drill Instructurs still yell in basic?

I heard from some Army DIs themselves that the military isn't allowed to yell at recruits anymore because its considered hazing? Now the individual is just pulled aside and given a polite, profanity-free, talking to? I'm not talking about the old breed, I want to know if this is legitimately a new policy ped in the service. Some one who recently graduated from Parris Island please tell me otherwise.
