I made a new friend and now i want to leave him cause i am grossed out by his lifestyle.. why?

hello...im new to a place and i just made a friend from my school..now im grossed out by his lifestyle....his mom is like a biker chick with boy friends...and my friend doesnt have a dad...also he doesnt study..and wants to make a living by changing car oils and stuff.whereas im a scholar and i do alot of sports..why do i feel nervous around him? and i dont want to show him where i live...(he does have my phone number).....its just weird as im not used to these sort of people...he swears alot too..and hes just after my company all the time....wat do i do?!
