Does anyone else suffer from Alcohol Flush Reaction/ALDH deficiency?

It happens to every single one of my asian friends or relatives, korean, japanese, phillipino and south east asian (cambodian/vietnamese). I think this is because you must be highly evolved as a race and that alcohol serves no purpose in your body and therefore - you should and would be advised to avoid it like the plague lest be judged for your truly RED face.
